Job Title: Facility Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Facility Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting technical assessments and maintenance surveys at various sites, ensuring thorough evaluation of facility infrastructure, equipment, and overall operational readiness.

This nationwide project requires the ability to travel and take on assignments at different project sites across the country.

The successful candidate will lead and oversee technical surveys of facilities, coordinate multidisciplinary survey teams, analyze results, and develop detailed Facility Survey Reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee technical surveys of facilities, ensuring thorough assessment of infrastructure, utilities, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary survey teams, providing direction, assigning tasks, and ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
  • Analyze survey results and develop detailed reports, including actionable recommendations for facility maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and personnel training requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to present findings, validate survey data, and support design review discussions.
  • Oversee documentation and tracking of facility conditions, identifying risks, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and provide guidance to survey team members, ensuring adherence to established standards, processes, and quality assurance measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PE, LEED) is an advantage.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in facility assessments, infrastructure surveys, and technical evaluations, including hands-on expertise in analyzing facility systems and recommending corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with maritime security infrastructure, including the unique requirements of port facilities, coastal surveillance sites, and related operational environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) facility standards, including design, sustainment planning, and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent surveys and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and develop practical recommendations.
