Remote Accounts Payable Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the processing of invoices and payments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with vendors, managing vendor databases, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Review and verify invoices for payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, resolve payment discrepancies, and address vendor inquiries in a professional manner.
- Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts to guarantee accuracy and prevent errors.
- Payment Processing: Initiate and coordinate payments to vendors through various methods, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable activities, including outstanding balances, cash flow projections, and aging reports.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and control company expenses by evaluating payment terms and negotiating discounts with vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and accounting software.
- Industry-specific software knowledge, including Excel and QuickBooks.
- High accuracy in financial records and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
