
Senior Instrument Warranty Team Lead

This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Instruments Operations organization, partnering closely with Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of instrument warranty reviews and returns. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing return orders through multiple channels: Fax, Email, Esker Fax Automation, and CRM, while adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, enabling them to efficiently manage workflows, elevate workflow issues to leadership or subject matter experts for timely resolution, and maintain required knowledge of Abbott Systems, including SAP, Esker, Agile, Metro, LERN, and SharePoint.
A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining professional working relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring customer expectations are met and order fulfillment requirements are satisfied. Additionally, the team lead will collaborate with management to guarantee that all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum College/Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong data entry experience and keyboarding skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task, meeting deadlines
- Experience in dealing with external vendors and supply contracts
- Demonstrated success in supporting colleagues through training and coaching
- Proven track record in delivering continuous improvement projects in a dynamic environment
- Solid understanding of sales distribution and logistics
- Advanced Project management and report writing skills
