Job Summary

This role requires a seasoned professional to handle employee grievances and cases with expertise in conducting investigations, advising people leaders on company policies, and providing labor dispute guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigations and Case Management: Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and cases, ensuring due process and the security of tenure for team members. Provide expert advice to people leaders on implementing company guidelines and addressing labor-related HR issues.
  • Career Counseling: Offer career development opportunities to employees through personalized counseling sessions, enhancing their perspective on career growth within the organization.
  • Policy Execution and Support: Collaborate with people managers to effectively execute TELUS Digital HR policies and practices, including performance management, employee engagement, diversity efforts, recognition, and talent management.
  • Action Planning and Reporting: Assist leaders in implementing employee-related action plans to boost engagement, presenting results of annual Pulsecheck Action Plans and similar engagement milestones.
  • Data Analysis and Problem-Solving: Prepare and utilize management reports (e.g., attrition) to provide people leaders/stakeholders with a holistic view of HR programs and support business decision-making.
  • Issue Coordination and Escalation: Coordinate and escalate issues to HR functional teams as needed, developing sound resolutions and solving complex problems within the area of expertise.
  • Training and Development: Conduct HRBP learning sessions for new leaders and the HRBP team, documenting minutes and supporting action plans related to FGDs by leaders.
  • Project Support and Collaboration: Act as a junior prime on projects, collaborate with project primes, and recommend policy updates for people and human resources management.
