Job Title: VP for Construction and Business Development

J.C. Piñon Construction Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of VP for Construction and Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the Executive Team, work collaboratively with peers to set the direction and provide support to achieve strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the organization, ensuring balanced decision making across all departments.
  • Manage Business Development and Operations Departments, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key community stakeholders and clients.
  • Ensure financial responsibility and accountability across the company, developing and implementing financial strategies to meet budgetary targets and key performance indicators.
  • Develop and maintain strategic and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively position the company to meet its strategic and operational objectives.
  • Create an environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving, fostering a culture of excellence and collaborative people management.
  • Identify innovations for implementation in service delivery and corporate support areas, championing continuous improvement.
  • Create a high-performance culture within the area of responsibility, focused on delivering key financial and operational outcomes aligned with the company's vision and values.
  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and improvement of the system of internal control in operations, ensuring risk management, reliability, and integrity of information.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity or at least 10 years of experience as Head of Operations.
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineer, with a valid PRC license.
  • Extensive senior leadership and management experience, with a proven ability to lead in a similar industry.
  • Senior management and financial skills, with a proven ability to develop and meet strategic, operational, and budgetary objectives.
  • Proven experience in providing financial project management skills, including the ability to deliver results on time and budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness as an Executive, with a proven ability to engage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to develop and meet strategic, operational, and budgetary objectives.
  • Strategic thinking, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Understanding of political, industrial, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive analytical skills in interpreting service needs, general guidelines, local conditions, and the achievability of desired results.
  • Proven ability to develop business cases, plan and lead change, and effectively lead, manage, and implement projects.
