Our organization is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Assistant to support our expanding team in a remote setting.

Job Summary
  • We are looking for a diligent and proactive individual with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and billing.

The ideal candidate will possess 1+ year of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping, along with excellent numerical accuracy and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and journal entries
  • Process invoices, refunds, and credits while assisting with collections
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation
  • Investigate and resolve finance-related issues
  • Support ad-hoc financial operations tasks and data entry
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth financial workflows

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Highly organized and dependable with solid time management
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently without frequent escalation
  • Comfortable working with communication tools like Slack and Gmail
  • Must have worked on a graveyard shift (9 PM–6 AM) in the last 6 months
  • Ability to work full-time during any US time zone (EST/CST preferred)

Bonus qualifications include:

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
  • Familiarity with billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.)
  • Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote admin work
  • CPA certification (preferred but not required)
