Product Design Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our team as a consultant. As a product design consultant, you will be responsible for creating engaging and safe toy products for children.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in product design to create innovative and child-friendly toys. Your role will involve working closely with our cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new toy products that meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design creative and age-appropriate toy concepts that align with current themes and trends.
  • Develop detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using design tools such as CAD, SolidWorks, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Conduct user research and testing with children or parent focus groups to gather insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international toy safety standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in toy or product design, especially for children.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design process and final products.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software.
  • Understanding of child psychology, play behavior, and developmental appropriateness.
  • Knowledge of toy materials, prototyping, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with toy safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
