Job Overview

The Senior Solutions Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering top-notch Dayforce configuration to our clients. This position involves working closely with Implementation project teams to ensure seamless delivery, providing limited support to clients during the implementation process, and developing long-term solutions to address any configuration gaps post go-live.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Requirements: Confirm, gather, understand, and document customer needs to meet their expectations.
  • Consultation Services: Offer expert guidance to customers on various options to address business requirements, ensuring the best possible solution is implemented.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced SQL skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data and configuration issues within the client's Dayforce instance.
  • Code Analysis: Possess a solid understanding of XML and XSLT code, enabling effective troubleshooting and modification as required.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, prioritize tasks, measure progress, make adjustments, and ensure successful completion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with customers, Ceridian contacts, and 3rd-party vendors to conduct thorough testing, ensuring a complete and high-quality solution is delivered.
  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Employ strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to drive projects towards successful outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer-related fields.
  • Minimum 4+ years of support experience or equivalent.
  • Superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational database systems.
  • Expert knowledge of programming, HTML, and Microsoft Server Technology.
  • Technical expertise in XML and XSLT.
  • Solid exposure to hosting and change management protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in support, consulting, and/or project management, specifically in the HCM space.
  • Certification in the HCM space, such as CPA Payroll Compliance Legislation and Payroll Fundamentals.
  • Fluency in French language.
