We are digitising one of the largest and most fundamental industries in the world: construction. This industry is crucial for our civilisation, providing foundations for our existence.

It may seem surprising that this industry remains largely un-digitised, despite being a significant contributor to global GDP. In fact, 1 in 9 people globally work in construction, making it one of the largest employers worldwide.

We aim to improve construction by leveraging technology and innovation. By doing so, we can strengthen the very foundation of human civilisation.

Our journey began as a high-end construction project management consultancy. With a deep understanding of the projects we work on, we develop software products that make construction more efficient and effective.

Our mission is to create a full suite of products, each module building upon the last. Think of it like Office 365, but designed specifically for construction management.

At the heart of our approach lies our team – a group of experienced software engineers, product designers, and product strategists. Together, we will build the digital backbone of the construction industry.

Your Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, your primary objectives will be:

  1. Developing our React Native application for iOS and Android
  2. Tweaking the native code for Swift and Kotlin
  3. Enhancing our test suite

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of our native applications using React Native, Swift, and Kotlin
  • Design and write efficient, reliable, and reusable code using React Native, ReactJS, and TypeScript
  • Understand and write Ruby code
  • Maintain a strong focus on testing (TDD)
  • Identify bottlenecks and refactor code using diagnostic tools

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of frameworks and tools used
  • Excellent communication skills, including choosing the best method of communication based on context and audience
  • Leadership abilities, including sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues
  • Ability to make decisions and take action
