Job Position Overview

This position involves managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to vessels. The successful candidate will work closely with category leads to coordinate the supply chain, analyze requisitions, and issue purchase orders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates with vessels, agents, and local ship chandlers for smooth delivery of orders
  • Resolves issues regarding supply as raised directly by the vessel
  • Provides feedback to Captain and Superintendent regarding local ship chandler for budget control

Requirements:
  • Relevant work experience in procurement, preferably shipping industry
  • Good interpersonal & stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate at all levels
  • High stress level, being comfortable handling numerous tasks within limited timeframes in a structured manner with eye for the detail
