Job Description

A Data Engineer is required to design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end data solutions on Azure Data Platform. This includes collaborating with external service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning. They will also be able to design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, including data from SAP and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement end-to-end data solutions on Azure Data Platform, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with external service providers during solution implementation to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, including data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Evaluate data accuracy, performance, and reliability across all stages of the ETL lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree in Data Science/Analytics is a plus.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with focus on Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:

  • Azure Data Factory
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Cognitive Services
  • Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise platforms.
  • Azure certification: DP-203 or AZ-305.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Familiarity with DAMA data management principles is an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, fluency in English.
