Cloud Application Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Application Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing automated cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Automated Cloud Application Platform Solutions: You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns, including cloud-ready distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, and integrating container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide Guidance and Mentorship: You will provide guidance and mentorship to the developer community in the best practices associated with CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Design, Build, Manage, and Operate Continuous Delivery Framework: You will design, build, manage, and operate the continuous delivery framework and tools, and act as a subject matter expert on CI/CD for developer teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience in DevOps: You must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or a related IT field.
  • Azure DevOps Operations: You must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps operations, including building automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Docker Development: You must have 3+ years of experience in Docker as a Developer.
  • OpenShift Container Platform: You must have 3+ years of experience with the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), including operator installs, Helm charts, cluster installs, job configuration, and monitoring.
  • Automating Application Deployments: You must be proficient in automating application deployments via CI/CD pipelines using best practices and open-source tooling.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and management.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
