**Job Opportunity:**

Cloud Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform, optimizing cost, security, and performance.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with major cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering, including handling alerts, troubleshooting issues, and identifying root causes during investigations.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization.
  • Proven experience with containers and container orchestrations systems (Kubernetes and Helm Charts).
  • Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines.
  • Templating and configuration languages for Azure Resource Manager (ARM/Bicep), Terraform, JSON, YAML.
  • Powershell experience.
  • Ability to work rotational weekend schedules.

**Desirable Qualities:**

  • Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence to support problem-solving, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, operating Elasticsearch.
  • Azure SQL knowledge.
  • NGINX experience.
