We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team. This role specializes in family medicine and internal medicine support, providing exceptional customer service to patients over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and efficient support to patients, scheduling appointments and verifying insurance coverage.

• Maintain accurate patient records within an electronic health record system.

• Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery.

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding test results, referrals, and follow-up instructions in alignment with practice policies.

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine.

• Proficiency in an electronic health record system, including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication features.

• Strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Expertise in family medicine/internal medicine scheduling protocols.

• Proficiency in an electronic health record system.

• Strong knowledge of insurance verification and referral coordination.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
