Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Professional

The role involves implementing a safe working environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating EHS training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an OSH Management System aligned with industry standards
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and implement controls
  • Coordinate training programs for employees on OSH principles and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, and near-miss events
  • Provide expert advice to management on OSH matters

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Sanitary Engineering or related field
  • Accredited OSH Consultant certification
  • Safety Officer 4 designation
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in EHS and Pollution Control
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety regulations and government guidelines
  • Expertise in Pollution Control Management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain effective work relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Valid driver's license
