Job DescriptionAs a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and scaling our remote operations team. This is a unique opportunity to shape operational strategy in a stable, growing organization that values innovation and practical solutions.
- Directly manage a team of 4-8 operations specialists covering business operations, accounting/HR, administrative support, sales/marketing support, and business technology.
You will provide strategic guidance, performance management, and professional development for team members with diverse skill sets. Foster a collaborative remote work culture and recruit/onboard new team members as the company scales.
Financial Operations- Oversee bookkeeping and accounting operations including A/R management, billing cycles, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain relationships with external financial advisors.
- Monitor and optimize cash flow, budgeting processes, and annual planning processes.
- Design and implement scalable back-office processes that enable our professional services and sales teams to focus on client delivery and business development.
- Collaborate with Business Operations Technologists to enhance system integrations, automation, and data management.
- Drive data-informed decision making through KPI development, reporting systems, and operational analytics.
- Lead recruiting and hiring processes across all departments to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with external consultants and service providers, coordinating projects in areas outside your direct expertise. Evaluate and onboard new service providers as business needs evolve.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of operations management experience, preferably managing remote or distributed teams.
- Strong finance and bookkeeping background with hands-on experience in financial operations and compliance.
- Experience managing HR functions including recruiting, payroll, and compliance and managing external consultants and vendors across multiple disciplines.

- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred), ERP systems, and CRM/marketing platforms and technologies.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Understanding of HR compliance, payroll systems, and employee lifecycle management.
