Inventory Accounting Specialist

As an Inventory Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in managing our company's inventory and financial records. This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team of finance experts and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost of goods sold, track inventory levels, and analyze sales data to optimize product availability.
  • Support new client account onboarding and configure accounting systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients through regular communication and timely support.
  • Manage retail operational accounting, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections.
  • Track and manage reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accrued liabilities.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and provide day-to-day support to clients and vendors.
  • Support month-end accounting functions, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to prepare financial reports and analysis for leadership and external partners.

As an Inventory Accounting Specialist, you will have the opportunity to model best practices in all areas of the accounting process, collaborate with team members to streamline processes, and drive business growth through financial expertise.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
