Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Academic Support Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor to our success, you will provide stakeholders with premium, personalized services in preparation for college admissions.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and streamline communication between clients and various departments, coordinating workflows, managing data processes, and ensuring client needs are met.

You will conduct high-level research under the Consultant's directives and guidance to support client needs, maintaining accuracy, thoroughness, and clarity in all research deliverables.

In addition, you will collect, organize, update, and maintain comprehensive client information, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all data handled.

Other responsibilities include coordinating daily office activities in collaboration with team members, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication, as well as working on projects contributing to the growth of the team and company during the off-season.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Creative Writing, or other related fields.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with consultants, written emails and messages with clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying challenges and developing strategic solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing productivity software, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other collaborative platforms.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple demands, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience engaging and dealing with diverse children, teenagers, young adults, and their families in educational or community settings.
  • Experience working successfully within multidisciplinary teams, leveraging the diverse skills, abilities, and knowledge of colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
