Software Quality Expert

The role of a software quality expert involves developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, identifying and resolving defects, and championing software quality. Collaboration with developers, analysis of requirements, and ensuring software applications meet global standards are key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test scripts.
  • Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Requirements Analysis: Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools.
