Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases and test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Review and comprehend software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify potential issues.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
  • Guide and mentor junior QA testers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing with a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts with experience in defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
