  • Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and drive business growth in Southeast Asia. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving partnerships across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans to expand LANGUAGECERT's presence in Southeast Asia through direct sales and channel partnerships.
  • Identify, build, and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts.
  • Establish and maintain high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers in language education and assessment.
  • Develop tailored go-to-market strategies for each country's unique language education landscape.
  • Drive market penetration and brand awareness of LANGUAGECERT certifications in both public and private sectors.
  • Participate in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Bachelor's degree (Postgraduate qualification is a plus).
  • 10+ years' experience in business development, ideally in the language testing, education, EdTech, or certification sectors.
  • Proven success in consultative B2B sales and partnership development.
  • Deep understanding of the language learning and assessment landscape in Southeast Asia, including key stakeholders, regulatory environments, and market trends.
  • Experience in working across diverse cultural contexts and multi-country portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English (C2 level); proficiency in any major Southeast Asian language is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy, with familiarity in CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
