Financial Operations Expert

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Expert to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the day-to-day financial activities.

You will be responsible for ensuring all corporate spend is properly categorized by account and department before month-end close. This includes reconciliation of card transactions and following up with internal teams to correct or complete financial coding and documentation.

Additionally, you will proactively identify recurring issues in expense classification and propose solutions, including writing standard operating procedures to reduce errors at the source. You will also monitor and validate classification of key expense types and assist with gathering and organizing data for monthly financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or operations support roles. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Strong Excel skills with working knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and data cleanup techniques are essential. Effective communication with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify procedures is necessary.
