Job Description

Address tax issues and handle compliance with local and national authorities; manage audits and permit requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Real Property Tax (RPT) functions will include:
    • Review, strategize, and prepare annual RPT payments and verify deficiency assessments
    • Preparation of computations/reports on tax issues
    • Coordinating with government officials on needed documents/data and advocating the Company's position
    • Maintaining a database of RPT payments and status per local government unit
  • Manage governance processes: liaison between teams and departments, and monitoring progress
  • Administrative Functions: Represent the company in tax-related matters; develop plans to improve local tax processes
  • Tax Advisory and Special Projects: Assist in impact assessment and structuring for corporate reorganizations and strategies; assist in tax planning initiatives; CAR processing; conducting tax due diligence; taxation advisory; assistance in audits; tax returns preparation and review
