Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expert-level support to customers leveraging Ubuntu and open source products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate complex customer issues related to cloud environments, Linux kernel crashes, and OS configuration problems.
  • Work with customers to resolve technical issues through phone, ticketing systems, and remote sessions.
  • Ensure that each support case is handled according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in a regular weekend working rotation to ensure continuous support.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about your alternative chosen path.
  • Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results.
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Linux systems, including virtualization/cloud, containers, storage technologies, and networking.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience, including navigating stack traces and logs, and advising on next steps.
  • Programming fundamentals in any language.
  • Extensive customer support experience, prioritizing customer needs and communicating professionally and empathetically.
