Remote Support Specialist Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled Remote Support Specialist to provide top-notch technical assistance and support to our clients. If you have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve customer support tickets in a timely manner and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Utilize expertise in SQL, Linux, networking, and VPNs to troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Collaborate with utility clients to deliver high-quality solutions and outcomes.
  • Provide after-hours/holiday support when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in client support, production environments, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS support and network administration.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Have:
  • Cloud systems, Java/JSP/jQuery knowledge, or Salesforce admin experience.
  • Utility industry or Smart Grid exposure.
  • ITIL/ITSM background.
