Project Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional with extensive experience in quantity surveying, architecture, and project management to lead our construction projects.

About the Role
  • This is a key position responsible for managing preconstruction activities, including takeoff, estimates, scheduling, scope creation, package splitting, tender documentation, and subcontractor communication.
  • The successful candidate will provide technical oversight of project execution, review plans, and propose value-engineered alternatives.
  • They will also be responsible for setting up contracts, managing post-contract projects, handling handover processes, operation, and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
  1. Manage preconstruction activities, including takeoff, estimates, scheduling, scope creation, package splitting, tender documentation, and subcontractor communication.
  2. Provide technical oversight of project execution, review plans, and propose value-engineered alternatives.
  3. Set up contracts (JCT).
  4. Manage post-contract projects, including CSA, budget control, procurement, cash flow, and quality control.
  5. Handle handover processes, operation, and maintenance services, utilities, building control, and warranty management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, quantity surveying, or architecture within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and architectural design.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
