Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join our team as a Construction Estimator & Takeoff Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and takeoffs, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans accurately.

  • This includes performing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates from construction drawings and specifications.
  • The candidate should be able to read and interpret construction plans to identify project scope, materials, and labor requirements.
  • In addition, they will collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate budgeting and project execution.
  • The successful candidate will utilize software to create detailed takeoffs and estimates.
  • They will also organize and track data to ensure all information is up to date and accessible.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with team members to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy in all deliverables is crucial for this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating and takeoffs in the construction industry.
  • A strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications is essential.
  • Proficiency in software, including Google Sheets, is required.
  • An excellent attention to detail and accuracy is necessary for this role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are also required.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is important.
