Job Overview

The role of the Sales Engineer for Process Automation is a key position within our team. As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for developing new markets for our industrial plant and infrastructure automation system business in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales budgets and targets through effective sales strategies and implementation plans.
  • Develop new business opportunities for process automation systems and drive automation systems for industrial plants and infrastructure to maintain excellent customer relationships.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our technical products or services, as well as industry and market trends.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights and recommendations for staying competitive.
  • Draft presentations and other documentation to explain products and services to customers.
  • Provide expertise and support to the sales team to communicate products, services, and client needs.
  • Actively participate in commercial and technical discussions with customers, gathering requirements and coordinating with the factory.
  • Stay updated on competitors' offerings and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations for staying competitive.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC systems, MV-Drive, MV-Inverter, LV-Drive, LV-Inverter, and other industrial automation products, instruments, and systems.
  • Proven sales track record in industrial plant sales business environments.
  • Candidates with multi-national companies' experience are preferred.
  • Candidates with site work experience (e.g., design of DCS or PLC software, electrical work, testing, commissioning, project management, etc.) are preferred.
  • Have good contact and network of prospective customers, distributors, consultants, contractors in the Philippines.
  • Quick response and reporting.
  • Keep abreast of industrial market trends.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, self-driven, and a team player.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Resourceful with the ability to work with people of multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Sales acumen and the ability to work effectively with the sales team to meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
