Energy Management Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our energy management services team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with .NET and object-oriented programming principles.
Key responsibilities include data integration, database management, UI development, API connections, and system design. The successful candidate will work with SkySpark deployed on Azure and collaborate with domain experts to translate requirements into code.
- Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases tailored for SkySpark data
- Write and tune SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
- Develop RESTful APIs to connect SkySpark with external systems
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Strong fundamentals in .NET (C#)
- Experience with SkySpark (Axon/Fantom) for data modeling and analytics
- Proficiency in Grafana for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
- SQL (queries, schema design, performance tuning, and database optimization)
- RESTful API design, development, and secure authentication/authorization
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement. We offer a collaborative work environment and the opportunity to work on challenging projects.
