Senior Backend Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have strong infrastructure and DevOps experience, with a proven track record of designing, building, deploying, and maintaining robust backend software solutions.

Key responsibilities will include owning the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality and performance, collaborating with others, conducting code reviews, and fostering technical excellence.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, as well as a strong understanding of IAM permissions, application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and platform security.

Experience with agentic workflows or AI-powered productivity tools is highly beneficial.

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, robust software solutions.
  • Owning the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with others, conduct code reviews, and foster technical excellence.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid, reliable deployments.
Infrastructure & DevOps
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using CDK, Terraform, Docker, and AWS.
  • Develop automation solutions to streamline deployments, system configuration, and monitoring.
  • Manage and maintain user access controls, permissions, and infrastructure-level security across environments.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles.
  • 7+ years experience in software development with a strong backend focus.
  • Proven experience with infrastructure and DevOps, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of IAM permissions, application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and platform security.
