Solar Quality Assurance Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in solar installations. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining the integrity of our projects and upholding our commitment to excellence.

  • Inspect installation sites and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Verify design materials and production against physical installations.
  • Monitor solar monitoring sites, layouts, and registered products.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Remain up-to-date on the latest install materials, methods, product trainings, and integration of new products.
  • Support best practices in installation, customer site profile creations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Identify trends and patterns with partners and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to drive education and best practices, resulting in increased M1 & M2 pass rates.
  • Conduct site inspections as required, accessing roofs and electrical equipment.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role.
  • Proven problem-solving skills or project management experience.
  • Photovoltaic design experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with business software such as G-Suite or Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work at heights, access rooftops, and withstand varying weather conditions.
  • Capacity to stand, kneel, or bend for extended periods during inspections.
  • Adherence to field safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
