Customer Onboarding Operations Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operations of upgrading individual accounts. The ideal candidate will exhibit analytical skills in assessing the overall process to come up with efficient solutions on identified pain points and challenges.

  • Responsible for day-to-day operations such as applicable customer due diligence on high-risk customer applications.
  • Implement continuous process improvements to maintain optimal efficiency and productivity of the KYC team.
  • Build and manage team KPIs.
  • Communicate effectively with Senior Leaders to strategize and implement key initiatives.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and deep dive to identify pain points and come up with right solutions.
  • Multi-task (projects) and deliver these in a timely manner.
  • Spearhead process improvements and initiate collaboration with cross-functional teams for product and process automation.
  • Participate in process improvement brainstorming, user acceptance testing, and implementation of new tools and/or process improvement involving Operations Team.
  • Manage existing vendors/third-party service providers.
  • Monitor latest updates and trends on KYC policies from local regulators and general industry.

Key qualifications include: a graduate degree in any 4-year business course, at least 3 years experience in customer onboarding in Fintech or Financial Institution with supervisory role, preferably with understanding of KYC regulations and industry best practices. Additional requirements include excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills, proven ability to conduct thorough research and analyze complex information, keen eye for detail, comfortable working with numbers and generating insightful and accurate reports.
