
Product Assortment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandise Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and customer service abilities, and a proven track record of success in managing inventory and product assortment.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer needs and improve product offerings.
- Oversee the analysis of sales data and trends to inform purchasing and assortment decisions.
- Manage product orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
- Sales Target Achievement – develop seasonal and annual plans; optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Gross Margin % – manage markdowns, promotions, pricing strategies, and supplier terms to protect margin.
- Sell-through Rate – ensure right product mix and timely seasonal transitions; align replenishment with sales trends.
- Stock Turnover Ratio – maintain optimal inventory levels across channels.
- Weeks of Supply (WOS) – monitor buying quantities to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Reduction in Aged Inventory – implement markdown/clearance strategies; optimize product lifecycle.
- New Product Contribution to Sales – source trend-aligned SKUs and allocate marketing/shelf space for launches.
- SKU Productivity – curate high-performing assortment; reallocate resources to bestsellers.
- On-time In-full (OTIF) Supplier Delivery % – ensure supplier adherence and coordinated delivery schedules.
- Negotiated Cost Savings – secure competitive costs and pass savings to margin.
- Trend-based Product Introductions per Quarter – identify and source trend-aligned products.
- Demand Forecast Accuracy – use data and market intelligence to forecast; adjust orders proactively.
- Timeliness of Range Plan Submission – deliver plans within timelines to secure production slots.
- Team Engagement & Performance – lead and develop the merchandising team to meet KPIs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in the retail industry for at least 3 years
