Key Roles and Responsibilities

This position is accountable for leading the Global Delivery Center organization, ensuring success in engagement and people management.

The role plays a critical part in providing support to GDC team members to guarantee delivery excellence and optimal resource utilization.

This consultant collaborates with GDC Leadership, Operations, and Resource Management to provide strategic project staffing.

Maintaining proper GDC delivery team performance and maximizing revenues is key to this role's success.

  • Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders that foster partnership, cooperation, and trust.
  • Manage own projects as required.
  • Oversee concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risks, escalations, and issue resolution.
  • Resolve escalations between the project, client, or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
  • Coordinate project activities between client and internal/external resources needed to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Guide staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
  • Communicate clear expectations of responsibilities, accountabilities, and growth plans by managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure bench time for Consultants is used to improve skills in line with Practice technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Seek feedback from Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are involved.
  • Conduct interviews of prospective GDC candidates.
