Investment Banking Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Investment Banking Associate to join our team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting deal execution across M&A and capital markets.

Responsibilities
  • Market research: Conduct market research including competitor analysis, industry research, and using raw datasets to create insights into niche subject areas.
  • Financial modeling: Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses by taking raw financial data from clients and creating transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
  • Client-facing materials: Develop client-facing materials for M&A and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
  • Transaction execution: Work closely with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
  • Process management: Manage execution processes ensuring seamless transaction workflows and high-quality deliverables.
  • Firm-building initiatives: Actively contribute to recruiting and firm-building initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1–2 years in investment banking or comparable experience (top-tier consulting or sell-side equity research with relevant transaction exposure will be considered).
  • Education: Strong academic credentials preferred, though not required.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
  • Creativity: Ability to adapt, use new tools, and find creative solutions to aid efficiency.
  • Professional Presence: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence.
  • Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client, communicating with the client, providing services, and addressing client-related matters independently.
