Job Title: Technical Lead for Backend Systems

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team of backend engineers and oversee the development and implementation of scalable, secure systems utilizing Node.js.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in hands-on Node.js development, experience working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust backend systems mainly utilizing Node.js.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD workflows to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
  • Collaborate with product management and design teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Guide and support engineering team members to encourage growth and teamwork.
  • Engage in operational responsibilities, including participation in on-call rotations via incident management systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Node.js development.
  • Proven expertise working with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing automation frameworks.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Current or past people management experience with proven leadership and coaching skills.
  • Operational experience with incident management systems.
  • Ability to make sound technical trade-offs focused on product and business outcomes.
