As a senior assurance professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients. This involves serving as a senior member of the assurance team on engagements, providing guidance and support to junior team members, and contributing to the development of audit plans and strategies.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in accounting and auditing, with a minimum of two years of recent public accounting experience. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in auditing and accounting standards
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on audit planning and execution
  • Contribute to the development of audit plans and strategies, ensuring that they are aligned with client objectives and risk appetites
  • Lead audits and provide timely feedback to management on audit findings and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to add value and enhance their overall satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including quality control and risk management, to ensure that audits are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution
  • Minimum two years of recent public accounting experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with auditing software and technology, such as Caseware and McGladrey methodology
