Job Opportunity

We are seeking a freelance Accounting & Finance Operations Specialist to enhance our day-to-day accounting and finance operations, automate processes, and create clear financial reports to support our growth.

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting and bookkeeping skills, be digitally savvy, and possess excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills. Additionally, they should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive about process improvements.

  • Improve the setup/configuration of QuickBooks Online for our Canadian entity, including the chart of accounts, bank feeds, and automation rules.
  • Manage and automate accounting and financial tasks such as reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and reporting.
  • Migrate existing financial tools from Excel/Google Sheets into automated reporting apps for two entities, including cashflow reports and balance sheets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Solid accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Digitally savvy with the ability to streamline processes and leverage automation tools.
  • Excellent Excel and/or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive about process improvements.
