Job Overview

Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning, and surveying services throughout Australia. They work with clients in the Energy & Resources, Infrastructure, and Property sectors to deliver high-quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a focus on client service and delivery.

The company has a wide range of expertise including upstream flowlines, leases, network gathering and distribution systems, major gas transmission pipelines, oil and gas above ground processing facilities, as well as solar farms and wind farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce civil engineering design and documentation for energy and civil infrastructure projects using 12D and AutoCAD software.
  • Work with project managers to balance design work requirements with project schedules.
  • Participate in the delivery of projects and ensure output is of a high standard.
  • Ensure all design drawings comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience within a consulting environment.
  • High level competency with engineering design software including AutoCAD and 12D.
  • Experience with designing access tracks and cut/fill pads. Wind farm design experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of local and statutory requirements, legislation, and Australian Standards.
  • Working knowledge of specifications and software applied to civil construction infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise multiple projects.
  • Proficient in the operation of MS Word and Excel.
