Award-Winning Architecture Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our strategic award submissions for top-tier national and international programs.

This is a remote position, requiring 20 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have experience managing architecture and design award submissions, strong familiarity with award platforms, excellent writing skills, and an eye for architectural storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop an annual awards submission calendar based on strategic relevance and deadlines.
  • Identify eligible projects, awards, and categories across residential and design sectors.
  • Prepare and manage award submissions — including image curation, text development, project storytelling, and online form completion.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to gather assets, photography, and plans.
  • Maintain records of submissions, deadlines, and results.
  • Advise on photography, presentation, and narrative positioning to maximize chances of winning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing architecture and design award submissions.
  • Strong familiarity with award platforms: AIA, Architizer, Dezeen, Dwell, Interior Design Best of Year, The Plan, WAN, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for architectural storytelling.
  • Ability to distill complex project ideas into clear, engaging language.
  • Comfort working with architects, creatives, and photographers.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
  • Portfolio of successful past submissions or awards won.
