Operations Reporting Supervisor Job Overview

As an Operations Reporting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dashboard Development: Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms.
  • Reporting Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights, optimizing data models and queries for performance and scalability.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and Excel reporting tools, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively utilize these tools.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including KPI dashboards, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and advanced formulas and macros.
  • Education: Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, with experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Additional Tools: Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Programming Skills: Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
