We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our accounting team as an Accounts Associate. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring financial processes run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoices, reconciliations, and records with accuracy and care. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their financial needs are met, providing exceptional customer service and support.

About the Role

The position is responsible for processing tenant adjustments for move-ins and move-outs, identifying and correcting accounting errors such as credits or arrears, and providing administrative support to the Senior Trust Accountant and Accounts Manager on various accounting and operational tasks.

You will also be responsible for treating internal and external customers with respect and professionalism, providing founded advice to external clients, and completing final statements of adjustments for outgoing tenants and incoming tenants' adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage invoicing of property-related income and expenses
  • Run audits to identify missing invoices
  • Process tenant adjustments for move-ins and move-outs
  • Identify and correct accounting errors such as credits or arrears
  • Provide administrative support to the Senior Trust Accountant and Accounts Manager
  • Treat internal and external customers with respect and professionalism
  • Provide founded advice to external clients
  • Complete final statements of adjustments for outgoing tenants and incoming tenants' adjustments
Requirements:
  • College level, with Finance-related qualifications preferred
  • Over 1 year of experience in Trust Accounting or similar roles
  • Advanced understanding in processing payable & receivable invoices
  • High attention to detail
  • Quick response times
  • High organisation & prioritising
