Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Senior Specialist is responsible for spearheading the identification, qualification, and pursuit of new business opportunities. This high-level professional leads complex sales cycles, builds strategic relationships with key decision-makers, and drives significant revenue growth by leveraging market research, industry expertise, and strong networking skills.

  • Attract new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process
  • Collaborate with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that may hinder growth
  • Identify and research opportunities in new and existing markets
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential new clients
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the organization
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions
  • Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
  • Run outbound campaigns to create sales opportunities
  • Maintain client activities in CRM
  • Develop and present proposals customized for each client's specific business needs
  • Ensure excellent customer service through regular client follow-up
  • Develop rapport with key decision-makers
  • Translate proposals into ready-to-sign contracts
  • Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development or technical sales within the construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Residency near assigned area of coverage preferred for ease of mobility and fieldwork
  • Experience in HVAC or elevator systems a strong advantage
