Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of software testing and delivery.

About the Role

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of software testing principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies that consider product risks and customer needs.
  • Apply a risk-based approach to testing and prioritize test coverage logically and consistently.
  • Manage and execute test cases efficiently.
  • Analyze requirements, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in web debugging tools, proxy tools, mock data, error handling, and testing methodologies.
  • Conduct database data analysis for deeper issue investigation and API testing.
  • Perform logs analysis and server issue debugging.
  • Show strong problem-solving skills, ask relevant questions to refine assumptions, and make informed decisions based on business and technical contexts.
  • Proactively identify gaps and propose solutions to improve overall quality.
  • Effectively manage test cases, contribute to improving test management processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of QA methodologies, test types, and test design techniques.
  • Ability to self-organize, think critically, and prioritize testing efforts based on risk and user impact.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, issue trackers, and test case management tools.
