Financial Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership.

Job Description:

The Financial Specialist will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the organization, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage relationships with Insurance providers.
  • Monitor and reconcile all insurance payments and registers in adherence with agreed terms.
  • Prepare all supporting documents for insurance renewals and complete the requested documents from insurers.
  • Ensure all new Aviation equipment are added to the policy with the insurer.
  • Prepare and provide all actuals on the Motor Vehicle & Workers Compensation policies.
  • Reporting all policies in GRC and maintaining ASM with current asset values for the purposes of the Property Damage policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification in finance or accounting with a minimum of three years' experience in that function.
  • Previous experience with leading and managing a small team of people, remotely and in Perth.
  • Previous experience working with SAP NetWeaver, Finance & Accounting Module.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Working closely with the various stakeholders to ensure all Applus finance goals are met as much as possible.
