Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Tax Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lodge individual income tax returns, business activity statements, and fringe benefits tax returns.
  • Manage client accounting files, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
  • Process payroll and superannuation payments for clients.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning, trust distribution minutes, and accounting for Division 7a loans.
  • Review and approve work prepared by junior accountants.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Australian accounting or taxation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
