Financial Reporting Specialist Role

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. Your responsibilities will include generating financial statements on a GAAP basis, preparing account analysis, and working closely with the Controller to upload financial reports to consolidation software.

Experience in revenue methods, such as time card (hourly) and lump sum projects, is required. You will record work-in-progress (WIP) monthly based on reports and work with senior management and accounting teams to prepare budgets for each entity and consolidate them.

The position will focus on entities recently acquired by the company to manage their monthly close, bank reconciliations, budgets, and internal controls as they integrate into our systems and banking.

Advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience with integrated accounting systems are essential. Private Equity reporting experience and knowledge of QuickBooks are desirable.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a licensed CPA are required.
  • At least 5 years' experience in finance or accounting at a mid-size to large entity with multiple entities is necessary.
  • Experience in Consolidation and GAAP accounting, as well as KPI reporting, is also required.
