  • Team Supervision:

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and documentation for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

    • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data and analysis.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
    • Manage relationships with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment issues.
  • Audit and Tax Preparation:
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.
    • Assist with tax preparation and compliance, including sales tax, property tax, and income tax.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop accounting staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
