Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist will safeguard the quality and integrity of client deliverables, operational processes, and internal data by developing and enforcing robust, up-to-date standards, executing quality control programs, conducting audits to international standards, and ensuring feedback mechanisms are maintained with integrity.
Responsibilities:- Ensure a high level of accuracy and consistency across audited deliverables, with timely issue identification and communication, a measurable reduction in recurring errors over time, adherence to agreed turnaround times, and active contribution to process improvements on a regular basis
- Develop and publish at least five standards annually for key processes, ensuring the team is properly supported to prevent errors and omissions
- Update and revise published standards annually or as needed to ensure they remain relevant and reflect the current processes
- Lead quality control projects, initiating at least one cross-functional effort within six months and resolving over 50% of identified issues
- Ensure 100% of eligible tickets have surveys sent and maintain zero instances of improper 'csat_no' tag usage or unauthorized removal of negative sentiment tags through monthly audits
- Perform high-quality audits within 12 months, adhering to international standards, with clearly defined testing parameters, control evaluations, and documented findings
- Conduct quality audits on accounting deliverables—including financial statements, management accounts, and bookkeeping outputs—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements; identify and document discrepancies, provide clear feedback to preparers, track resolution of issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of quality control processes
- Develop and implement quality control plans
- Evaluate service stages and testing outcomes, including appearance, accuracy, and format of completed work
- Develop standards for all processes and procedures
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve optimal understanding of processes currently in place and to understand pain points of each stakeholder
- Ensure services provided to clients comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Document issues and recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and present quality audit reports to senior management
- Stay up-to-date with changes in IFRS, Singapore FRS, Singapore Companies Act, Singapore Income Tax Act, and Goods and Services Tax Act
- Maintain the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
