Software Test Engineer Role

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in testing and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented individual who can execute manual and automated software tests, develop test environments, and collaborate on issue resolution in a dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, ECE, Computer Science, or other related field.

  • Execute manual and automated unit and functionality tests for various software products using black box, white box, and gray box approaches.
  • Create and ensure that test plans cover all software requirements.
  • Develop and set up test environments, including software testing tools and automated test equipment, for testing purposes.
  • Create test cases and scripts for automated testing.
  • Report issues and defects found during testing and collaborate with software development and other team interfaces to resolve or close reported issues.
  • Consolidate test results and defects to provide recommendations for software release.
  • Regularly communicate test updates with internal and external customers.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, ECE, Computer Science, or other related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of accountability and adaptability to rapidly changing tasks.
  • Experience in testing software and computer systems (GUI, API, Web, and Mobile Applications) using languages such as JavaScript, Python, C++, etc. is a plus.
  • Experience with software testing tools like Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc. is a plus.
